Rapeseed is a bright-yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage family) and has been grown in Britain and Europe for hundreds of years as animal feed and to protect and improve soils for future crops.

Rapeseed wax is made from the oil that is harvested from the rapeseed plant. It is sustainable (obtained from a natural, renewable material that isn’t intensively farmed), non GMO, vegan, biodegradable, harmless to wildlife and because it is grown locally in the UK and Europe, it has a lower carbon footprint than other imported plant waxes.
